Mondo Sport Mini alloy fuel tank

Mini alloy fuel tankOur unique design of alloy fuel tank can be supplied in two different capacities – 45 and 60 litres. The foam-filled fuel cells are perfect for historic race Minis where the original floor panel must be retained, as, unlike others, they fit snugly into the battery box and spare wheel well.

The central and low positioning of the tank in the boot aids weight distribution too. Available with the level sender as shown or fabricated to your own requirements.

Mondo Sport Mini flywheel puller

Mini Clutch PullerA heavy-duty Mini flywheel puller to remove even the most stubborn of flywheels. This is the only puller we know of which uses a hydraulic ram. The ultimate flywheel removal tool to make light work of the job!

Mondo Sport steering drop bracket

Mini drop bracketA stronger and more attractive version of the commonly-available Mini steering column drop bracket. This allows you to drop the steering column and wheel to a more suitable position and is ideal for daily drive Minis to full race cars.

Mondo Sport tow strap

Mondo Tow StrapMade for us locally by one of the UK’s largest harness manufacturers, these towing straps are ideal for race and trackday use. As fitted to all of our race cars, they are strong, bright and compatible with most racing regs.

Mondo Sport Anti-rollbar droplinks

Mondo Sport droplinksComplementing our range of adjustable engine and gearbox steadies, these rear anti-rollbar droplinks are constructed from high-quality stainless steel rod with 5/16-inch rod ends for adjustable length.

The powder coated mounting brackets fit the rear of the drum brake backplates, leaving you free to fit your own custom made anti-rollbar for race or road.

Mondo Sport front subframe

Front subframeMondo Sport is the name in modified Mini subframes for road or race applications. Our front subframes are seam-welded, gusseted, lightened, shot-blasted and finished in a durable powder coating. These are available on an exchange basis and all types of subframe can be modified to your chosen specification.

As featured in the January 2011 issue of MiniWorld magazine.

Mondo Sport rear subframe

Rear subframeA similar process can be applied to rear Mini subframes. This particular frame is for a Mk3 dry-suspension road Mini. For race applications we can remove more metal for even greater weight savings. Expect to save a minimum of 1.5kg over a standard subframe.

An exchange (genuine or non-genuine) rear subframe in good condition is required, or for an extra charge we can supply a donor.

Mondo Sport subframe tower bolt spacers

Tower bolt spacerBillet alloy subframe tower bolt spacers for Mk4-onwards Minis. These are thicker than the standard tower bolt washers, so the spacers between the shell and subframe towers can be omitted without the bolts bottoming out. This allows you to lift the subframe higher to the shell for a lowered ride height without adjusting the suspension geometry.

A smart solution, available anodised in silver, black or purple. Modifications to the other subframe mounting points may be required.

Mondo Sport adjustable bottom arms

Adjustable bottom armOne of our most popular products, these on-car adjustable bottom arms allow precise front wheel camber adjustments, which is hugely beneficial to any Mini. They are based on a standard Mini bottom arm, but with an adjustable-length rod end and finished in durable black powder coat.

Supplied as a pair with high quality stainless steel fixings. Suitable for road or race – the rose joints can be easily replaced if necessary although we’ve found they last for many years without wear.

Mondo Sport balljoint spacers

Balljoint SpacersA pair of Mini 1 1/4-inch balljoint spacers in EN24 steel. These are intended to fit between the lower balljoint and the hub to alter the angle of the bottom arm.

Changing the angle of the bottom arm is especially important on lowered cars, as it effectively changes the rollcentre of the front suspension, improving turn-in. A touring car-inspired product tested on our own race cars to great effect.
